1st February 2004 - Very special Baptismal Service. We had five candidates for baptism. After the five had been baptised by full immersion, an appeal was made for anyone else who would like to be baptised, there and then? Another five people came forward for spontaneous baptism, some running to the front. They were followed by a family of three grown ups came forward. After thirteen baptisms we all celebrated with a buffet style meal together, over which another candidate made known her desire for baptism. In all fourteen people were baptised that day.
